De Oude Pastorie is situated in Cypress Street in the "Bo-dorp" part of town. It was the first parsonage of the Dutch Reformed Church in Victoria West. The building plans of the church and the residence were accepted on the same night, in September 1846. According to the minutes, the cypress trees in front of the house are even older than the building itself.
